NPCC Theater department and Community Playhouse present “Next to Normal”

The North Platte Community College Departments of Theater and Music will join forces with the North Platte Community Theatre to present “Next to Normal” April 10, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.

Showtimes will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. All performances will be in the historic Fox Theater in downtown North Platte.

“Next to Normal” is a deeply moving 2008 rock musical that explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. The show takes the audience into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family's story with love, sympathy and heart.

The cast and crew are directed by Ritch Galvan, NPCC theater instructor, and features the following:

Tickets go on sale at noon on Monday, April 6, and can be purchased online at: northplattecommunityplayhouse.com or at the playhouse box office Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. They will also be available at the door an hour before every performance.

Adult tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door for general admission. Tickets for high school students with IDs are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. MPCC students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with ID.
