Position: Responsible for managing and coordinating the EMS/CPR program at Mid-Plains Community College – North Platte and community campuses. Responsible for supervision of adjunct faculty and part-time staff in the department, student clinical oversight, AHA course offerings for the entire MPCC area, and overall responsibility for the course offerings of the northern tier of the service area and community campuses. This position will also maintain the program’s state certification as a training agency.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be a National Registered EMT BLS provider. The successful candidate must be licensed as a Nebraska EMT. Candidate must possess or obtain Nebraska EMT instructor and AHA instructor certification. An associate degree or above is preferred. The successful candidate should be an innovative and creative thinker with strong organizational skills. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

Position: The Director will provide leadership and vision for the Business Office of the College. The Director is responsible for maintaining the integrity of Business Office functions, including general ledger, A/P, A/R, purchasing, payroll/benefits administration, financial statements, and annual audit preparation. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible management experience required. The successful candidate should possess advanced knowledge of FASB, GASB, and Single Audit preparation, a demonstrated ability for high-level decision-making and problem-solving in multiple areas of responsibility, written and oral communication skills, the ability to multi-task effectively and be comfortable working with technology. Position: Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: operating the day-to-day duties of the Career and Professional Testing Center including monitoring schedules, handling technical aspects, maintaining necessary equipment; performing administrative tasks such as record-keeping, taking of payments, scheduling and tracking accounts; and serving as a test proctor for MPCC students and others while maintaining an accurate inventory of testing materials; assist with career development, exploration, and job placement activities for MPCC. Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree is required. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, be familiar with the business community, understand a facilitator’s role and knowledge of career services delivery methods. The candidate needs to be able to work with a diverse clientele and have the ability to obtain proctor and fingerprinting certification by successfully completing required exams. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in using computers, various software programs and the Internet. Competence in report writing and documentation and travel to community campuses on occasion. Multilingual communication skills are a plus.

Physical Resources Department Information:
The North Platte Physical Resources Department manages facilities operations with our subdepartments maintenance and custodial. Required: Master’s degree in mathematics or physics with at least 18 graduate hours in Mathematics required. Must demonstrate ability to teach all levels of mathematics, from developmental education to differential equations. Associate degree required. Prior experience in the field of Financial Aid is preferred, but not required. On the job training in financial aid will be provided. Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for a qualified ESports Club Coach who has the ability to coach and instruct proper gaming techniques, plan engaging and skill-building practices, and oversee all aspects of running a highly competitive E-sports team. Position: Responsible for daily maintenance such as groundskeeping and may assist with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry installations. This position will average 28 hours per week. The physical resources department manages facilities operations with our subdepartments maintenance and custodial. We are a staff of approximately 20 team members that work with multiple suppliers, and contractors to support the physical operations at NPCC. Daily activities in our department include facilitating building repairs, groundskeeping, vehicle maintenance, fleet management, implementing facilities improvements, and receiving shipments to name a few. Physical resources provides essential support to all departments, faculty, and students.

Minimum Qualifications:
Preferred five years of residential/commercial related construction trade experience required along with Nebraska valid driver’s license. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

Position: North Platte Community College is seeking a part-time lab assistant to work in the Auto Collision classroom and lab. This position is approximately 28 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Duties include, but are not limited to equipment maintenance, preparing lab materials/supplies, organization of lab, assisting with the supervision of shop activities and substituting as needed.

Position: McCook Community College is seeking a part-time teacher to work with local high school students for career exploration in the area Welding Technology. This position is approximately six hours per week, M – TH 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will follow a traditional high school calendar.
Duties include but are not limited to teaching high school students basic welding techniques, working with full-time faculty to determine appropriate teaching activities, and encouraging high school students to pursue a career in welding.

Qualified persons are required to hold a current CDL License, a clean driving record and a minimum of at least 1-year of driving experience. Behind the Wheel and Range instructors will assist instruction of Behind the Wheel and Range training to the students at the Mid-Plains Community College Entry Level Driver Training program. Hours are flexible, instruction on the driving pad can happen daytime, evenings and weekends depending on your availability. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Education related field and 4 years full-time occupational experience as a dental assistant to include at least 2 years as a chairside assistant. This experience must have been within the last 5 years if not currently teaching in an ADA CODA accredited dental assisting program. Additional Requirements: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Graduate of ADA CODA Accredited Dental Assisting Program, current CPR for Healthcare Provider, current immunizations for clinical participation and be able to meet the technical standards for the program.
