Position: Responsible for teaching college composition, literature, and developmental English courses at North Platte Community College. Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in English with a demonstrated ability to teach English composition and developmental English required. Prefer knowledge and experience in the use of current educational technologies, including online instruction and interactive television, and possession of ESL certification or experience. Preference will also be given to candidates with experience or willingness to teach dual credit or concurrent enrollment courses. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

Position: North Platte Community College is now accepting applications for a part-time Office Assistant in the Physical Resources Department. This position is approximately 28 hours per week. Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for an organized, high energy, experienced, and enrollment driven individual to lead the enrollment management team, strategic enrollment plan, and drive enrollment growth for the MPCC area. Position: McCook Community College is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Residence Life. Looking for someone who:

This is a full-time, live-in position aimed at enriching the residential experience for our students. The role of this position will revolve around enhancing the quality of life for students living on campus, active involvement in planning and executing residence life programs and events, addressing student conduct matters, and contributing to student development initiatives.

This position is a key member of the CARE Team, dedicated to supporting at-risk students. Duties will also involve participating in on-call rotations to address immediate needs and providing supervision and training to resident assistants and residence life assistants.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be a National Registered EMT and AHA BLS/ALS provider. The successful candidate will be licensed as a Nebraska EMT/Paramedic, Nebraska EMT instructor and an AHA BLS/ALS instructor. Master’s degree in nursing or master’s degree in process. Must possess an unencumbered registered nurse license to practice nursing in Nebraska and have five years of nursing experience. Position: McCook Community College is looking for motivated, energetic, responsible, and team-oriented individuals for multiple Residence Life Assistant positions. Responsibilities for this 20 hour a week position includes: on-call responsibilities, administrative assignments, program management, staffing the residence hall front desk during the day and overnight. This position is for 34 weeks and includes an hourly wage plus room and board. The position requires candidate to live in campus provided housing. Position: McCook Community College is seeking a part-time teacher to work with local high school students for career exploration in the area Welding Technology. This position is approximately six hours per week, M – TH 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will follow a traditional high school calendar.

Duties include but are not limited to teaching high school students basic welding techniques, working with full-time faculty to determine appropriate teaching activities, and encouraging high school students to pursue a career in welding.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in welding and/or five years of documented work experience in welding and the desire to work with high school age students.  Previous experience in an education setting is helpful.

Behind the Wheel and Range instructors will assist instruction of Behind the Wheel and Range training to the students at the Mid-Plains Community College Entry Level Driver Training program. Hours are flexible, instruction on the driving pad can happen daytime, evenings and weekends depending on your availability. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Education related field and 4 years full-time occupational experience as a dental assistant to include at least 2 years as a chairside assistant. This experience must have been within the last 5 years if not currently teaching in an ADA CODA accredited dental assisting program. Position: Mid-Plains Community College is now accepting applications for a part-time Health Occupations Administrative Assistant. This position is located in North Platte. Responsible for general office duties such as answering phones, office coverage, and assisting with mailings. This position will work with students enrolled in all health programs as well as faculty in those program areas and will assist with enrolling students, reviewing application packets, and assisting students through the application process. This position will work an average of 28 hours per week; Monday through Friday.
