Position: Mid-Plains Community College is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, team player with great computer and customer service skills. This position provides support for Academic Advising, Registration and Records, and the Enrollment Management Team and support for students in the enrollment process. Responsibilities for this position include data entry, records management, student support, customer service, and serving as a member of the South Campus Welcome Center team.

Minimum Qualifications:

Computer skills required. Bachelor’s degree preferred, an associate degree required, and a combination of education and experience will be considered. Good organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, perform detail work accurately, time management to effectively handle multiple responsibilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to be discreet. Position: North Platte Community College is seeking an enthusiastic, positive, team-oriented individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Student Leadership and Engagement. Looking for someone who:

Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for an organized, high-energy, experienced, and enrollment driven individual to lead the enrollment management team, strategic enrollment plan, and drive enrollment growth for the MPCC area. Position: North Platte Community College is seeking an enthusiastic full-time sports information specialist to enhance promotion of our athletic programs. Responsibilities include:

  • General maintenance of the North Platte Community College athletic website and social media channels.
  • Creation of promotional materials including press releases, gameday programs, graphics, media guides and pregame and postgame recaps.
  • Display expertise in videography & photography.
  • Work closely with local media pertaining to the promotion and coverage of athletics.
  • Assist with special athletic events including media days, color games and press conferences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree and demonstrated experience required. Must possess knowledge of collegiate athletics specifically men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, softball, baseball and golf. Must possess strong writing and grammar skills, be detailed oriented and an excellent communicator.

Familiarity with basic computer applications, MS Office products and Adobe Creative Cloud programs preferred. Basic knowledge of photography and videography preferred. Must be enthusiastic and willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Must have a positive attitude with a high level of professionalism and courteousness to represent MPCC in a quality way.

Part-Time

Location: North Platte

Position: North Platte Community College is seeking a part-time lab assistant to work in the Auto Collision classroom and lab. This position is approximately 28 hours per week, Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Duties include, but are not limited to equipment maintenance, preparing lab materials/supplies, organization of lab, assisting with the supervision of shop activities and substituting as needed.

We need a positive, strategic, team building individual who can manage student athletes, plan practices, and travel, and execute effective strategy, as well as recruit strong student athletes and have a significant presence in the community. Associate degree preferred, while a combination of coaching and work experience is recommended. Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for a qualified golf coach who has the ability to coach and instruct proper golf technique, plan engaging and skill building practices, and oversee all aspects of running a highly competitive college golf team. This position also requires someone who can recruit high performing golfers on the course and in the classroom and oversee travel plans and fund raising for the team. Golf coaching experience and knowledge of rules, strategies, mindset, recruiting, retaining, and planning is helpful. This is a part-time position that has the opportunity to be paired with full-time positions that are currently open.

Position: McCook Community College is seeking a part-time teacher to work with local high school students for career exploration in the area Welding Technology. This position is approximately six hours per week, M – TH 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. and will follow a traditional high school calendar.

Duties include but are not limited to teaching high school students basic welding techniques, working with full-time faculty to determine appropriate teaching activities, and encouraging high school students to pursue a career in welding.

Qualified persons are required to hold a current CDL License, a clean driving record and a minimum of at least 1-year of driving experience. Behind the Wheel and Range instructors will assist instruction of Behind the Wheel and Range training to the students at the Mid-Plains Community College Entry Level Driver Training program. Hours are flexible, instruction on the driving pad can happen daytime, evenings and weekends depending on your availability. Pay is $25.00 per hour.

Bachelor's Degree in a Health or Education related field and 4 years full-time occupational experience as a dental assistant to include at least 2 years as a chairside assistant. This experience must have been within the last 5 years if not currently teaching in an ADA CODA accredited dental assisting program. Additional Requirements: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA), Graduate of ADA CODA Accredited Dental Assisting Program, current CPR for Healthcare Provider, current immunizations for clinical participation and be able to meet the technical standards for the program.
