Norton wins MCC Paint-In; MHS’s Hanna Huff ‘Best of Show’
A team of high school artists from Norton claimed the team title Friday at McCook Community College’s 51st annual Paint-In Competition. Also the results of the Paint-In exhibition were announced and McCook High School’s Hanna Huff received this year’s “Best of Show” award.
MCC Paint-In Exhibit in Wrightstone Gallery through April 10
The art works of more than 100 area high school students are currently on display at McCook Community College’s Wrightstone Gallery. It’s part of the annual MCC Paint-In Exhibition and Paint-In Competition. The works will be on display through April 10.
Cambridge’s JoLie Farr wins Best of Show at MCC
Cambridge High School artist JoLie Farr received the Best of Show award Friday at the 50th anniversary of the McCook Community College Paint-In and Art Show Competition. Norton won Friday's paint-in competition.
MCC hosting High School Paint-In art show through April 11
Nearly 350 works of art created by students from 19 area high schools are on display now through April 11 at the Wrightstone Fine Arts Gallery, 1208 E. Fifth Street on the McCook Community College campus.
Perkins County artist wins best of show at MCC paint-in
Kaitlin Meyer of Perkins County was named Best of Show winner at the McCook Community College Paint-In and Art Show. She was honored for her folded paper piece “Bird of 3,000 Folds.” Norton Community High School was named winner of Friday’s paint in competition.
NPCC Departments of Theatre and Music and North Platte Community Theatre Present “Next to Normal”
The North Platte Community College Departments of Theater and Music will join forces with the North Platte Community Theatre to present “Next to Normal” April 10, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.
