MPCC End-of-Year Concert

The North Platte Community College music department will have its end-of-year concert April 29. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd., in North Platte.
The “Nature’s Awakening” themed concert will feature performances by the Jazzy Knights, Knightingales and Knightly Singers. Piano Tech students will provide preshow entertainment.
Also performing are the following musicians:
- Violin duet by Anja Tejral of North Platte and Music Instructor Kristin Simpson
- Flute duet by Rachel Williams and Adjunct Music Instructor Jennifer Smallcomb
- Guest Violinist Ilias Wonch of Stapleton
- Adjunct Music Instructor Taina Ward on guitar
Additionally, three awards will be presented: Outstanding Musician, Outstanding Instrumentalist and Musician of the Year.
The concert is free and open to the public. There will be a reception afterward in the fireplace area of the McDonald-Belton Building.
