NPCC blood drive will have “Friends” theme
North Platte Community College will join the American Red Cross in celebrating the 30th anniversary of the television show, “Friends” by hosting a blood drive from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 on Monday, Nov 25.
The drive will take place in the concessions area of the McDonald-Belton Building on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd. The event is open to the public.
Everyone who donates blood will receive two pairs of “Friends” and Red Cross socks, one to keep and one to gift, while supplies last.
Donors are urged to make an appointment ahead of time using the free American Red Cross Blood Donor App, by visiting redcrossblood.org by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
A blood donor card, driver’s license or two other forms of identification will be required at check-in.
