Santa’s Workshop offers food, fun to local families
Kenzi Shurigar, of North Platte, tells Santa what she wants for Christmas during Santa’s Workshop Thursday evening at North Platte Community College. The event was organized by NPCC’s Student Life department.
Children of all ages had the opportunity to take a picture with Santa, decorate cookies, make ornaments and play a variety of holiday-themed games. Admission was a canned food item for The Salvation Army of North Platte.
Surplus electronics hit auction block July 8
North Platte Community College will begin an online auction for surplus electronics next week. The auction will go live at 8 a.m. July 8 and will continue through 5 p.m. July 15.
