PTK members give back through construction

Kathy Welte, of Brady, works on a North Platte Area Habitat for Humanity home Wednesday in North Platte.

Welte is a member of North Platte Community College’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa. PTK members from NPCC and McCook Community College will help Habitat build houses throughout the year as part of a community service project.

Habitat’s mission is to make safe, decent, affordable homes available to low-income families.
