MCC hosts Alumni/Community Golf tournament
More than 20 teams and 80 golfers turned out July 13 for the McCook Community College annual alumni/community golf tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Course in McCook.
Alumni, staff, family, friends and community joined in for this four-person scramble.
First flight winners were Team Loop, with the team of Jason Loop, Reid Loop, Keeton Loop and Landon Knoch. Second place was Team Wallen (Tim Wallen, Ed Townsley, Don Owens, Kirk Kilpatrick). Third place was Team Samway (Darren Samway, Brian Michaelis, Tyson Karr, Lance Korte).
Team Stewart won the second flight (Jim Stewart, Tom Shields, Tom Stewart, Jamie Hansen). Team Bales was second (Steve Bales, Jack Fries, Jack Russell and Steve Sughroue). Team Zehnder was third (Tim Zehnder, Blake Bethell, Robert Mosley, Jake Reiners).
Proceeds of this event go towards scholarships for MCC graduates planning to transfer to a four-year college or university.
Bidding opens on NPCC Foundation Auction House
This year’s three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home was custom-made to conform to high performance standards. It measures out at 1,886-square-feet and features an open concept design throughout the foyer, living room, dining room and kitchen.
