Need-based scholarship funds available through Mid-Plains Community College
Paying for college just became a little bit easier for students in need of financial assistance, minorities and those facing significant obstacles to a higher education.
Those specific groups of undergraduate students can now apply for need-based scholarship funds from the EducationQuest Foundation through Mid-Plains Community College.
MPCC will be responsible for selecting the recipients. All scholarship money must be applied toward tuition, fees or books.
Headquartered in Lincoln, EducationQuest is a private nonprofit organization with a mission to improve access to higher education in Nebraska.
This marks the 23rd year that EducationQuest has awarded need-based scholarship funds to Nebraska colleges. Since the program began, the EducationQuest Scholarship Program has awarded over $27 million - providing 26,000 scholarships.
More information about the scholarships at MPCC and the application process is available through the college’s financial aid team at (308) 221-6444.
