NPCC to showcase history of Christmas in North Platte
North Platte Community College’s Business and Community Education department will offer “Christmas Through the Years - A North Platte History” Dec. 5.
Jim Griffin, curator of the Lincoln County Historical Museum, will give a presentation about how North Platte has celebrated Christmas from the Canteen Era of the 1940s to present day.
The program is open to the public. It will be from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 203 of the W.W. Wood Building on the NPCC North Campus, 1101 Halligan Drive, in North Platte.
