MCC partnering with YMCA for Bosu Bootcamp sessions
In a partnership with the Ed Thomas YMCA, McCook Community College is offering an introduction to balance training with a Bosu Bootcamp.
The series of classes will be on Mondays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. from April 4 through May 9, in room 213 of McMillen Hall. Cost is $30. Jeff Johnson will be the instructor.
Participants don’t have to be a member of the YMCA to participate.
This bootcamp will integrate balance training on an apparatus that is a cross between a core board and a stability ball taught by a certified personal trainer. This session will blend calisthenics and basic equipment for a fun, challenging, and total body workout for any fitness level.
Pre-registration is required through the Mid-Plains Community College Business & Community Education Department. Call 345-8122, or go online at BCEregister.mpcc.edu
