Applied tech job fair lures in 27 businesses

North Platte Community College students visit with representatives from businesses across the state during an Applied Technologies Job Fair Tuesday on the NPCC North Campus.

It was the second time the college hosted such an event, which was open to the public. Students and community members had the opportunity to learn about jobs in a variety of applied technology fields. They also received goody bags and were entered in drawings for door prizes.

A total of 27 businesses participated. Afterward, they had the option of taking tours of the campus and learning about NPCC’s applied tech programs.
