Mid-Plains Community College celebrates LPN graduates

Mid-Plains Community College honored its 2024 Licensed Practical Nursing graduates with a pinning ceremony in the McDonald-Belton Theater on Friday.

“We are equipped with the tools, knowledge and passion to excel in our chosen field,” said Gabrielle Perlinger, LPN graduate. “May our past be filled with purpose and may we all strive to be the best nurses we can be.”

The ceremony included a presentation of pins and flowers, recital of the Florence Nightingale Pledge and comments from student speakers Perlinger and Ashley Smolik.

Licensed Practical Nursing graduates: Caleb Allen, Emily Birge, Kendra Bley, Codi Guerrieri, Karissa Jackson, Betsy Parra Meraz, Madison Merritt, Sylvia Omboga, Gabrielle Perlinger, Hope Roseberry, Alaina Sandberg, Ashley Smolik, Nicole Coss, Adeasha Escobar, Ashley Knotts, Rylie Mintling, Quincy Ash, and Jenna Cox.
