Coronavirus Information

Mid-Plains Community College (MPCC) is committed to providing quality educational opportunities that meet student’s needs. MPCC’s COVID-19 Response Team will continue to monitor local, state and national guidance to provide educational opportunities while navigating the unpredictability of multiple variants and less than desired vaccination rates. This team continues to meet as needed to review the local factors and discuss the best course of action when it comes to the risk of COVID-19 while trying to ensure that MPCC remains a safe learning environment.

Information and updates pertaining to the institutions COVID-19 plan will be communicated via campus email, mpcc.edu, social media platforms and other local media outlets.

The health of our students, staff and faculty is paramount to our institution and we will continue to provide a safe educational experience for our students and staff. At this time, Mid-Plains Community College has relaxed the mask requirement. College employees may continue to request that a face covering be worn in individual offices, classrooms, and/or crowded college spaces and we ask that you respect those individual requests.

Please note, if health directives change for our area, a decision to implement additional safeguards may be instituted.
