MPCC End-of-Year Concert

The North Platte Community College Music Department will present its end-of-year concert on April 28. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd., in North Platte.

The spring-themed concert will feature performances by the Jazzy Knights and Knightly Singers, with preshow entertainment provided by Piano Technology students.

Three awards will also be presented during the evening: Outstanding Musician, Outstanding Instrumentalist and Musician of the Year.

The concert will conclude with a special 60th Anniversary performance featuring selections from “Next to Normal”, showcasing both current and former MPCC students.

The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow in the fireplace area of the McDonald-Belton Building.
