MCC PBL’s photo shoot fundraiser starts busy month of projects
McCook Community College students (from left) Leslie Hernandez and Krysta Henning, help set up Phi Beta Lambda’s recent fund-raising photo booth that offered professional headshots for college personnel and members of the community. The three-day event was the first activity of the semester for the group that will sell dessert items this Saturday as part of the Dick Driml Chili Cook-Off from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Red Willow County Fairgrounds community building. Later this month PBL members plan to show high school students “How to Tie a Tie” at part of MCC’s Inter-High Day Scholastic competition on campus March 22. Students are also finalizing projects and preparing for the state leadership conference in Kearney April 2-3.
