NPCC Phi Theta Kappa members earn scholarships

A new scholarship is helping North Platte Community College students in their pursuit of a higher education. 

Funds from the recently formed North Platte Community College Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship were awarded to three students at NPCC Thursday. The students are: Josiah Wriedt, of Norfolk, Selegna Harvey, of Lexington, and Kathy Welte, of North Platte. 

The scholarship is open to any active member of NPCC's PTK chapter, Alpha Beta Theta. The funds to create it were donated from the estate of longtime educational supporter Linda Kriha, of North Platte.
