North Platte Community College student Ethan Damerum, of Loughborough, England, donates blood during an American Red Cross blood drive Thursday on NPCC's South Campus.

According to Amanda Wehnes, Red Cross donor recruitment account manager for the Midwest region, the efforts of NPCC students, employees and supporters yielded 15 units of blood.

Each unit can impact up to three patients, which means the NPCC blood drive has the potential to help 45 individuals.
