The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at Mid-Plains Community College offer courses and programs for students interested in the world around them. Their interests may guide them toward creation and self-expression and/or investigating society and its many structures and dynamics.

Students who study the social sciences are interested in learning about the structure and dynamics of social systems.
