MCC hosting fall blood drive Thursday at student union
McCook Community College is hosting its fall blood drive Thursday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the student union.
With Hurricane Ian, the need for blood products has increased and the American Red Cross has set a goal of 28 units for the MCC drive.

Walk-ins are accepted if there is an available time slot.
Donors will not be required to wear a mask anymore to enter the blood drive.
Painter finishes third at CNFR
Cinch Painter, of Springview, led the way with a third-place finish in steer wrestling. The freshman posting a time of 5.4 in the third round to punch his ticket to the championship round on Saturday.
