Position: NPCC is currently seeking a success coach to work with students related to retention, outreach, and tutoring as well as serve as the head coach for women’s softball in North Platte. Responsibilities include, working on retention efforts, coordinating tutoring services, working with at-risk students, and serving as the advisor for the Kiewit Scholars program. On the coaching side, responsibility for overall leadership of the Knights women’s softball program. Position: McCook Community College is looking for a highly qualified full-time Welcome Center Assistant who has office management, data-entry, and customer service skills. This role is the frontline first contact for visiting students, answering phone calls, and providing support for Student Services initiatives and events, providing data entry for recruiting and admissions, and providing back up support to Early Entry, Human Resources, and Student Accounts. This position opens the MCC Welcome Center daily: Hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Thursday and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree required and two years experience in education, customer service, and office management are helpful. Excellent customer service skills and proficiency with a variety of computer programs and applications are essential. An ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem solving, and people skills. Organizational skills, accountability, and punctuality are a must, as well as strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a strong work ethic. Position: North Platte Community College is seeking an enthusiastic full-time sports information specialist to enhance promotion of our athletic programs. Responsibilities include:

  • General maintenance of the North Platte Community College athletic website and social media channels.
  • Creation of promotional materials including press releases, gameday programs, graphics, media guides and pregame and postgame recaps.
  • Display expertise in videography & photography.
  • Work closely with local media pertaining to the promotion and coverage of athletics.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree and demonstrated experience required. Must possess knowledge of collegiate athletics specifically men’s and women’s basketball, women’s volleyball, softball, baseball and golf. Must possess strong writing and grammar skills, be detailed oriented and an excellent communicator.

Familiarity with basic computer applications, MS Office products and Adobe Creative Cloud programs preferred. Basic knowledge of photography and videography preferred. Must be enthusiastic and willing to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Must have a positive attitude with a high level of professionalism and courteousness to represent MPCC in a quality way.

Bachelor’s degree in physical education or a related field.  Three years of teaching experience preferred. The coaching position should have had previous playing, recruiting, and/or coaching at the intercollegiate level. Preferred: community college teaching experience and experience in the use of current educational technologies, knowledge and practice learner-centered instruction, ability to be a team builder. Previous head coaching experience at the intercollegiate level is preferred for the coaching position. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

Prefer knowledge and experience in the use of current educational technologies, including online instruction and interactive television, and possession of ESL certification or experience. Position: Mid-Plains Community College is looking for an organized, high energy, experienced, and enrollment driven individual to lead the enrollment management team, strategic enrollment plan, and drive enrollment growth for the MPCC area. Responsibilities include: overseeing the recruiting, retention, and the student onboarding process, building relationships with area high schools and businesses, enrollment reporting, tracking, strategizing and researching enrollment trends and initiatives. Strong engagement with marketing and partnerships with other college teams is essential. This position will oversee Admissions/Recruiting, Career Services, Financial Aid, and Advising; experience/knowledge in each of these areas is crucial. Travel between all MPCC campuses is required.

MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the area.

Minimum Qualifications:

Adjunct Faculty positions, along with required qualifications for teaching are listed.  Adjunct faculty positions are part-time, non-benefited, and are hired on an as needed basis, per student enrollment.  

Bachelors Degree in subject area:
Criminal Justice
Developmental English

Masters Degree with 18 Graduate Hours in the subject area:
English
Sociology
Business – specifically Business Law and Marketing
