MCC hosts Trunk-Or-Treat on campus

McCook Community College students, staff, sports teams and organizations helped get an early start to weekend trick-or-treating Friday afternoon with the annual Trunk-Or-Treat event on the west side of McMillen Hall.

Sophomore Annika Johnson, McCook, and freshman Kyler Gaston, Trenton, helped set up an ADHD information station in the Learning Commons for the McCook Community College Social Justice Group.

The McCook Community College Social Justice Group had their first event of the semester this week with an interactive informational display in von Riesen Library about ADHD – Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder.

The North Platte Community College theater department, in partnership with the North Platte Community Playhouse, will present “Bus Stop” as its fall production. Performances are planned for Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 19-21 at the North Platte Community Playhouse’s Fox Theater in downtown North Platte.

McCook Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa, helped raise nearly $2,000 at this year’s Pink-Out event at the MCC volleyball game Monday night at the Peter and Dolores Graff Events Center.

NPCC hosts Craniofacial Clinic

This year marks the first that NPCC hosted the Craniofacial Clinic, which is offered by dentists, doctors and other providers from around the state. It is designed to help children born with and recovering from craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip and cleft palate.
