What is Early Entry?
Early Entry often referred to as Concurrent Enrollment or Dual Credit are courses that provide opportunities for high school students to take college-level courses and can earn credits toward both a high school diploma and a college degree.
How can Early Entry Benefit Your College Plans?
High school students take advantage of MPCC’s Early Entry offerings, giving them a jump start on their academic and career goals while saving money on college courses. Students gain exposure to the academic challenges and procedures of college while in their supportive high school environment successfully transitioning students from high school to college. Research shows that students who earn a two-year degree are better prepared for the academic rigors of attending a university.
Transferring to a 4-Year after high school?
MPCC is a great place to start if you’re planning to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at a four-year college or university. MPCC has prepared students to transfer credits to colleges and universities around the country
Gain the knowledge and work in your field of choice before earning that bachelors. Mid-Plains Community College offers many internship opportunities and hands-on experience. You can’t afford not to make those first two years count and Mid-Plains can afford you the tools to do so.

Pay for Classes
Access College Early (ACE) program. Get 2 courses per year free!

Complete your Release Form
Completion of 12 MPCC credits prior to graduation also allows you to step up one tier on our scholarship grid below. This can amount to significant savings to attend MPCC to complete your Associate degree!
