"The college appreciates the work of our adjunct faculty," said Dr. Jody Tomanek, MPCC area vice-president of academic affairs. "They give up their time after work or during the day to help us educate students, and many of our adjuncts are located in our local high schools to teach dual credit. We couldn't offer some of the classes we do without them. Being able to recognize their years of service is a small token of our appreciation."
About 190 adjunct instructors teach for MPCC each academic year. Of those, 20 are employed by the college in an additional role.
