Area Associate Dean of Student Life

​Mid-Plains Community College is hiring a student-centered, team-oriented, self-motivated, solution- focused, and innovative Area Associate Dean of Student Life at our North Platte campuses. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to fostering a positive, safe, and healthy living-learning environment; day-to-day operations in Residence Life, Student Conduct, and Student Organizations; supervision of Counseling Services and Concern Investigation & Intervention Team; supervision of Student Activities and Co-curricular educational programming; leadership of staff training and professional development; primary responsibility for Jenzabar Student Life module management; ensure quality communication of Student Life opportunities, programs, and initiatives. 

About us

Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska.  Additionally, there are extended campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area.  North Platte Community College is located in North Platte, Nebraska, a city of approximately 24,000 in rural southwestern Nebraska along the I-80 corridor.


Master's degree and a minimum of five years professional experience in post-secondary education and/or mental health related fields is required. Professional experience in a leadership role is preferred. Computer skills required. Experience in Residence Life is a plus.
